December 31: Prayer for the New Year : College Place Village Church College Place WA

What a year 2020 has been and it’s finally over. I’m sure some of the 2020 trouble will over lap into 2021. Covid-19 is still a menace to the world, but there is hope. As believers we can begin each day with Hope and face our new year seeking out His will for our lives. We can start the New Year renewed and with a renewed energy to live our lives fully alive for Christ.

Isaiah 40:30-31, “30 Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; 31 but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
2 Corinthians 5:17, “17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”
Psalm 98:1, “1 Sing to the LORD a new song, for he has done marvelous things; his right hand and his holy arm have worked salvation for him.”
Romans 8:18, “18 I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.”
Isaiah 43:19, "19 See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”
Ephesians 4:22-24, “22 You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; 23 to be made new in the attitude of your minds; 24 and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.”
Jeremiah 29:11, “11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
